News Flash!

Hey everybody!  I thought I would make it 'blog official' and announce that I got married! (over a year ago, haha)  So in case you see me around the web i.e. resume, facebook etc., with a different last name, that's why! I'm slowly but surely transitioning from Imogene Chayes to Imogene Ann Kilar.

Project Update

A little while back I posted a group of sketches from a personal project, my version of the Fox Force Five as told by Uma Thurman's character Mia Wallace in the film Pulp Fiction. (see below).  I have taken two of them to completion! And having some fun with the 'casting' while I'm at it :)

Some pre-production work on an un-named sci-fi movie

Over the last couple of months I've had the pleasure of doing quite a bit of pre-production design work on a sci-fi film that, unfortunately, has since shut down.  But the good news is I got to keep the rights to my designs, which means I get to show them all to you!  I did everything from costume illustration, to creature design, to sculpting.  Enjoy!

New Sculpture Preview

...Well, not exactly new.  This is a male anatomy study I started last summer.  I got it to about 80% in a couple of weeks, but alas it has been frozen at that stage since then.  I will finish it as soon as possible and post more photos accordingly.
